According to Nike, it has provided approximately $2.5 million in financial support to LGBT-related causes since the project’s inception. Details have been announced of a new Nike clothing line in conjunction with recently-out skater Brian Anderson. This collection will be available globally beginning June 1 from the Nike+ and SNKRS apps, /nikelab and select Nike retailers. The “Be True” collection’s Flyknit Racer makes use of vacuum-printed sublimation for vivid, high-res colors on what Nike says is the first-ever eight-color rainbow Swoosh. These are combined with Nike innovations and the message Run Fierce printed on the shoe’s sock liners. Included in these are the color pink and the triangle.
